To find out or not to find out...
After spending all this time thinking that we would find out the sex of the baby (helps planning and bonding), we are now 2 weeks away from the 20 week scan and are wondering whether we may not find out and have a surprise in October. Ummm, ahhhh, if anyone has any comments about this, please let me know!

i think that because you are indecisive you should perhaps be conservative and wait... I simply couldn't wait! if the doctor knew i wanted to know!
the other reason i found out was because i was sure i would be having a girl and couldn't get my head around the idea of having a son. once i knew we were talking willy i was able to let go of the girl thing and get excitied about little boys. knowing also gave more meaning to our secial private time together.
maybe you are holding back because perhaps you want some extra incentive during labour? my research into natural birthing gave me my motivation to try my best for this result(a good book btw is 'misconceptions' by naomi wolf). knowing the sex didn't affect my birthing experience in any way. getting the baby out is such a relief and meeting your child is soooo magical - possibly the most amazing moment of your life.
but people do go for the surprise thing and if you can possibly hold out i'm sure on balance either choice is just as rewarding.
either way i wanna be in top of the finding out queue!!!!
